The company has basically two important wings. The first is corporate Establishment / Headed by Chief Project Coordinator and the second is Site Establishment headed by General Manager.

When a job is awarded to the company, detailed Bar Chart is prepared taking the clients priority of the job, and breaking down the project/work in to its smallest components. Each activity is critically examined and time and cost parameters are fixed by the staff of site conditions in detail. Cash Flow, requirements of man, material and machines are accordingly workout and man, machines and funds are arranged to suit the agreed priority and the Bar Chart already prepared. PERT is regularly followed to monitor to progress of the work to ensure that the project is compneleted in time and hindrance / snag is tried to be removed before it has its effect on the progress.

To ensure the quality of the job to the International Standards, the company has got a separate quality control section working under the direct control of the corporate establishment (and not under the site establishment). The quality control’s job and responsibility is to check and ensure the quality without any other consideration. And that’s why, it has not been placed under the site establishment.

A complete project report is prepared after every project is completed, so that each officer / staff of the company is intimated about the project where in more emphasis is always given to all snags, impediments, important decision taken during execution of the Project.

Special attention is given by our company to Quality Assurance and Quality Control programmers to achieve the high standard of construction and ensure that the subsequent maintenance of the pavement structure is minimum during its life cycle. In this direction Orbit Group has materials testing laboratories for testing for bitumen mixes using Marshal’s Stability Test and various other criterion of grading, voids, density etc. The materials laboratories of our group are capable of solving any special problem encountered in the field. Our studies also aim at designs which ensure the use of local materials as far as possible to economies on the cost construction.

Consultants and the funding agencies. We always ensure that the basic technical parameters laid by these agencies are strictly adhered to.
